Porter, Thomas Christopher –

Son of Martha Porter, of 31, Rectory Road, Higher Crumpsall, Manchester, Lancashire, and the late Thomas Porter. Worked for some time at the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company’s Horwich Loco Works. Noted local cricketer and amateur international footballer.

Potts, Geoffrey Fildes –

Son of William Edward and Emily A. J. Potts, of “Sannox”, Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1914. Commissioned October 1914. Promoted full Lieutenant September 1915.

Potts, Harry –

Son of Mrs. Potts, of 10, Booth Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Enlisted November 1915. Prisoner of war in Germany, captured July 1916, released June 1918 to Schvereningen, Holland.
