Walker, Frederick James –

In addition to the Roll of Honour at St. Andrew’s Church, Eccles, this man is also commemorated on a separate brass plaque in the same church.

Walker, George H –

Elder son of Mr. George Walker, headmaster of the Eagley Mills Schools. An old boy of the Bolton Grammar School. Formerly a cadet with the Manchester Officer Training Corps and the Bristol Cadet Bn. Seriously wounded 27/03/1918 in the right upper arm and admitted to London Hospital 30/03/1918, where he was gazetted to full Lieutenant.
