Son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Bolton, of 43, Church Street, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Florence Bolton, of “The Den”, Winchester Road, Bassett, Hampshire, and formerly of Leyland, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Grammar School. Enlisted October 1915. Formerly a despatch rider in the Royal Engineers.

Booth, Stanley Gordon –

Husband of Alice Booth, of 216, Church Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. Previous service as a Trooper in the Duke of Lancaster’s Own Yeomanry from 1907 to 1911. Formerly Driver F8937, Royal Naval Air Service, Royal Naval Division. Transferred to Royal Air Force on formation 01/04/1918.

Son of Moses and Mary Jane Brooks, of 9, Church Street, Ainsworth, Lancashire. Formerly Grenadier Guards, transferred to Royal Flying Corps 02/03/1917, and into Royal Air Force on formation 01/04/1918. Wounded in the thigh and hospitalised at Glasgow in May 1918.
