Son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Charlton, of Longcauseway, Farnworth; husband of Mrs. Charlton, of 51, Manchester Road West, Little Hulton, Lancashire. A member of the Ellesmere Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade.

Of 27, Smith Fold Lane, Little Hulton, Lancashire. Enlisted in the Royal Scots June 1915.

Charnock, John Phethean –

Only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Charnock, of Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Mrs Violet Charnock (nee Moyes), formerly resident of 11, New Hall Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Grammar School (1898-1904). Wounded.

Charnock, Hugh Gordon –

Son of Luke and Selina Harriet Charnock, formerly of Anderton, Lancashire; husband of Sarah Broadhurst Charnock (nee Schofield), of 6, Bent Row, Heath Charnock, Lancashire. Previous service Private 12698, 8th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, enlisted at Chorley 31/08/1914 and discharged medically unfit 02/12/1914. Died from Influenza, Pneumonia and Pleurisy at 1st London General Hospital.

Chatwood, Arthur –

Son of Martha Chatwood, of 62, Gilnow Road, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late Samuel Rawsthorne Chatwood. An old boy of the Bolton Church Institute. Previously enlisted at Bolton on 13/10/1914 as Private 2798, 2nd/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment and discharged no longer physically fit 12/05/1915. Re-enlisted for Royal Army Medical Corps being a member of the St. John Ambulance Brigade.
