Son of Robert and Martha Foster, of 70, Yates Street, Tonge Moor, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 57, Cross Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Enlisted August 1915. Died at the Fulham Military Hospital, Hampstead, London.

Fowler, Frederick James –

Son of Mrs. Sarah Ann Fowler, of 57, Wordsworth Street, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Elizabeth Ellen Fowler, of Francis Street, Yarraville, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Reported missing from the hospital ship Arcadian and believed drowned from 15/04/1917 and subsequently declared to have died on that date.

Doctor. Commissioned into the Royal Army Medical Corps December 1915, having been senior house surgeon at the Bolton Infirmary.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Foy, of 32, Loxham Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted August 1914. Saved a child’s life at Hallines on 05/08/1917.
