Son of Mrs. Hamer, of 1, Rigby Lane, Bradshaw, Turton, Lancashire. One of the first six ambulance men to leave Bradshaw on 11/11/1914. Reported dangerously hill with malaria in the General Hospital at Salonika in November 1917.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Hardman, of 28, Manchester Road, Kearsley, Lancashire; husband of Louisa Hardman, of 423, Bolton Road, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915. Took ill shortly after marriage ceremony whilst on special leave and died from pneumonia.
