Edwards, Herbert Pryce –

Husband of Ida Edwards (nee Frodsham), of 25, Clarendon Road, Tonge Fold, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915.

Ennion, Walter Everall –

Son of Thomas Frederick and Clara Ennion, Regent Hotel, Regent Road, Salford, Lancashire. Walter worked as a lorry driver before he enlisted aged 24. He lived with his sister Gertrude Richardson at 32 Vere Street, Salford, Lancashire. Walter had four brothers Tom, Fred, Harry and Charles and two sisters Annie and Gertrude. Walter was burnt to death when a candle was knocked over in his tent while he was asleep.

Son of James and Eliza Entwistle, of Ellerslie, 81, Station Road, Kearsley, Lancashire. Twin brother Reuben also served. Home service only.

Son of Mr. Reuben Entwistle, superintendent of the Hollands School, Farnworth. Of 19, Station Road, Kearsley, Lancashire. An old boy of Farnworth Grammar School.

Entwistle, John William –

Of 8, Aspden Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 42 as an absentee from Woolwich since 07/03/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/29).
