Howarth, Moses –

Son of Henry Howarth, of 73, Wellington Road, Turton, Lancashire, and the late Jane Howarth (nee Holden). Formerly Private 19144, 9th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Hospitalised at Glamis Castle in Scotland with the effects of gas in September 1917. Died at Trent Bridge Military Hospital, Nottingham, from nephritis due to gas poisoning.
