Son of Alfred and Frances Clayton, of 63, Gladstone Road, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire. Died of pneumonia at Burdon Military Hospital, Weymouth, Dorset. Interred in Farnworth Cemetery.

Clement, Octavus James –

Husband of Agnes Ann Clement (nee Shepherd), of 10, Lomax Buildings, Bolton, Lancashire. Died at Whalley Military Hospital from influenza and pneumonia.

Coles, Albert Harold –

Husband of Jane Coles (nee Greenhalgh), of Gate House, Turton Road, Bradshaw, Lancashire. Attached No.12 Motor Ambulance Company.

Son of Charles and Edith Coles, of Seedley, Salford, Lancashire. Formerly Honourable Artillery Company, Royal Artillery.

Collan, J H –

Of 15, Crown Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915.

Collins, J –

Brother of Mr. C. C. Collins, of 45, Bromwich Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Served at Mons, Gallipoli and Greece. Invalided home suffering from tuberculosis of the lungs and died 14/06/1917 at Southmead Hospital, Bristol.

Collins, Thomas –

Caught aged 36 as a deserter / absentee from Latham Park, Ormskirk on multiple occasions, appearing before Bolton Magistrates each time to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/27).

Collins, William –

Son of Jane Collins, of 37, Barton Street, Hulme, Manchester, Lancashire, at time of enlistment in March 1915 with prior service in Army Service Corps. Prior occupation was Brass Moulder. Served in France.

Son of John Abraham and Lily Collins, of Stockport, Cheshire; husband of Mary Sophie Pirie Collins, of Bolton, Lancashire.

Colluney, Thomas –

Husband of Florence Colluney, of 40, Hibbert Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Later (20/04/1920) joined the Bolton Artillery as a territorial until 1923.

Connor, Albert –

Son of Thomas and Agnes Connor; husband of Lily Connor, of Melksham, Wiltshire.

Cooper, Arthur Tyas –

Only son of J. Tyas Cooper, of Chisworth, Victoria Road, Heaton, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of the Bolton Grammar School.
