Fields, Arthur Ernest –

Son of James Robert and Elizabeth Fields, of 18, Leicester Street, Horwich, Lancashire. Enlisted April 1915.

Finch, Alfred –

Son of John William and Ellen Finch (nee Whitter). Nephew of John William Barwick, of 33, Dijon Street, Bolton, Lancashire and also a relative of Briston and Elizabeth Harrison, of 412, Bridgeman Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Driver 1127, Royal Field Artillery.

Son of John and Betsy Finch, of Plant’s Farm, Greenside, Ainsworth, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1915. Formerly Driver 2342, Royal Field Artillery.

Finch, William –

Son of John Frederick and Mary Ann Finch (nee Hampson), of 44, West Worsley Street, Regent Road, Salford, Lancashire. Died at Salford Military Hospital.

Finn, John –

Son of the late Michael and Rose Hannah Finn; husband of Alice Finn. Previous service as Driver 19457, 04/10/1901 to 03/10/1913, Royal Field Artillery – discharged on termination of period of engagement (12 years). Formerly Driver 12569 / 69772, Royal Field Artillery. Silver War Badge Record indicates shellshock at time of transfer to W Reserve. CWGC records an address of 24, King Edward Street, Patricroft, Lancashire. Died 29/09/1918 aged 38 years and interred at Peel Green Cemetery.

Fish, Lawrence –

Son of Thomas and Harriett Fish (nee Schofield), of 17, Silvester Street, School Hill, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Gunner 1120, Royal Field Artillery. Father in France with the Royal Field Artiilery, and brother in France with the Royal Engineers.

Fishwick, Peter –

Son of the late Edward and of Ellen Fishwick (nee Massey), of 39, Victoria Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly employed by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company. Enlisted January 1915. Wounded in the leg by shrapnel.
