Banner, Joshua –

Of 6, Wickliffe Street, Bolton, Lancashire. As at June 1918 he had completed 26 years’ continuous service with His Majesty’s forces. Later associated with the company of Dobson and Barlow.

Barber-Lomax, Joshua Arthur –

Son of Joshua Barber Lomax and Margaret Alice Lomax; husband of Sarah Barber-Lomax (nee Walker), of Langdale, Bromwich Street, Haulgh, Bolton, Lancashire. Gazetted to temporary major September 1915 and appointed as Brigade-Major to Colonel Watkins.

Bardsley, Harry –

Son of George Edward and and the late Sarah Bardsley, of 91, Grasmere Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Middle of three brothers, the other two both wounded. Formerly a locomotive fireman with the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company. Killed at the same time as his friend Gunner Robert McEvoy.

Of 41, Parkfield Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915.

Barlow, Richard –

Of 38, Church Street, Horwich, Lancashire. Badly injured in the right leg by a shell bursting near to his gun and hospitalised near Boulogne in March 1918.
