Hurst, William George –

Second son of Mr. and Mrs. Hurst, of Hadfield, Derbyshire; husband of Edith Jessie Hurst (nee Leach), of 6, Melbourne Grove, Horwich, Lancashire, and formerly of 21, Victoria Road, Horwich, Lancashire. Mortally wounded 01/10/1918 and died four days later. Service number recorded as PS/8071 on SDGW.

Hutton, Sydney Frederick –

Only son of Rev. Frederick Robert Chapman Hutton and Maria Louisa Hutton, formerly of 28, Chorley New Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Father served as vicar of St. George’s, Bolton, and St. Paul’s, Astley Bridge. An old boy of the Bolton Church Institute. Formerly a curate of St. Peter’s Parish Church, Swinton, Lancashire, from 1913 to 1916.
