Caught aged 36 / 42 (per record) as an absentee from 2nd Bn., Borders at Monmouth since 08/01/1918 and from Royal Garrison Artillery at Blyth since 11/06/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 14/01/1918 and 17/06/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort.
