Iliff, formerly of 9, Park Grange, Victoria Park, Manchester, Lancashire, and of Sunderland, County Durham. Brother of C. W. Iliff, of Keasden, Felden, Boxmoor, Hertfordshire. Formerly Z/245 (London), Petty Officer, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. Died of wounds in 2nd (Royal Naval) Field Ambulance.

Son of Mary Louisa Ireland, of 8, Irlam Avenue, Eccles, Lancashire. Wounded 28/09/1918 by gunshot to the legs and left hand.

Ivers, William Ewart –

Younger son of Dr. John Gladstone and Edith Ivers (nee Bradley), of Beechwood, 17, Crosby Road, Birkdale, Southport, Lancashire, and formerly of Bolton Road, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire. Formerly Private 10028 / 764029, 2nd Bn., Artists Rifles, London Regiment. Discharged to commission as Sub-Leiutenant, Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve 26/06/1917. Formerly 2nd Reserve Bn., Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve at Blanford and Aldershot.

Son of Harold and Clara Lamb; husband of Margaret Lamb, of Blackrod, Lancashire. An old boy of Rivington and Blackrod Grammar School.

Lawson, Samuel –

Son of David Lawson, of 4, Balmoral Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted April 1918. Reported slightly wounded and missing 30/09/1918, and subsequently prisoner of war, captured 01/10/1918.

Lee, Cedric –

Younger son of Harold Lee (of Sunnyside Mills, Bolton, the company of Messrs. Tootal Broadhurst, Lee Co.), of Fairfield, Broughton Park, Manchester, Lancashire, and of Agnes Lee. An aeronautical engineer by profession. Formerly Ordinary Seaman Z/1440, Public Schools Bn., Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve. Commissioned 31/05/1915.

Mather, Charles Ellis –

Only son of Mrs. E. A. Mather, of 264, Mulgrave Terrace, Worsley Road, Swinton, Lancashire. Joined up early 1916 and served as a wireless operator.

McDermott, Bernard –

Grandson of Mrs. McDermott, of 3, Wingates Square, Westhoughton, Lancashire. Of 3, Refuge Row, Bolton, Lancashire. Son of John William McDermott, 31, Acton Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 19 as an absentee from Aldershot since 19/12/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 06/01/1919 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/30).

Pegg, James Thomas –

Son of Thomas Henry and Annie Pegg, of Asbury House, Leigh, Lancashire, and formerly of 695, Leigh Road, Leigh, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Body not recovered for burial.

Son of John and Alice Ann Rice. Of 31a, Old Road, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted Army Reserve 07/12/1915. Mobilised with Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve 11/07/1917. Formerly R/5014.
