Son of Mr. John Hulmes, of 47, Halshaw Lane, Kearsley, Lancashire. Formerly employed by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company as a foreman carriage cleaner at Bolton. Enlisted January 1915. Formerly Private 3872, 5th Bn., Seaforth Highlanders. Multiple times wounded.

Son of Mrs. S. Hulton, of 81, Cannon Street, Black Lane, Manchester, Lancashire. Killed by a sniper.

Johnson, John –

Son of John and Elizabeth Ann Johnson, of 18, Hampden Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915. Formerly Private 3874, Seaforth Highlanders. Wounded in the head at Neuville St. Vaast in June 1916. Two brothers also serving, Sergeant Frank and Sergeant Major Alfred.
