Shaw, Joseph –

Son of William Shaw, of 134, Oxford Grove, Bolton, Lancashire. Discharged due to valvular disease of the heart.

Sturt, George –

Son of Mary Ann Sturt, of 15, Tweed Street, Salford, Lancashire, and the late John James Sturt. Christ Church

Swindells, William –

Son of James and Mary Ellen Swindells, of 4, Trenham Street, Park Place, Cross Lane, Salford, Lancashire. Christ Church.

Thorpe, John –

Formerly on the staff of Bolton County Borough Libraries Department.

Todd, Harry –

Husband of Mrs. Todd, of 21, Joseph Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 13, Prescott Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught as Private 1955 aged 19 and 21 on multiple occasions as an absentee from the 2nd, 3rd, and 20th Bns., Manchester Regiment., and later as Private 260264, 67th Training Reserve Bn. appearing before Bolton Magistrates to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26 and JBO/1/28). Wounded seriously in the left hand September 1916.
