Son of Mr and Mrs Joseph Dunn, of 23, Hilton Street, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted February 1915. Father, four brothers and a brother-in-law also served.

Dyer, Herbert –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Dyer, of 2, Wood Street, Westhoughton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 48478, South Wales Borderers. Posted as missing since 30/05/1918 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war.

Eardley, George Arthur –

Of 22, Benson Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 19 as an absentee from Redcar since 15/07/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 15/07/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/29).
