Hynes, William –

Brother of Mr. Hynes, of 8, Byng Street, Farnworth, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Hynes, of Golbourne, Lancashire. Enlisted December 1914. Served in the Dardanelles and Salonika. Suffered malaria resulting in hospitalisation in Malta and Winwick Hospital. Died 30/03/1917 from wounds sustained in the leg and arm on 27/03/1917.

Son of Richard and Elizabeth Alice Adelaide Ibbotson. Of 4, Lancaster Gate, North Shore, Blackpool, Lancashire. Formerly Private 13035, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Commissioned 25/10/1916. Attached 4th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment at time of death.
