Previous service as Sergeant 6363, 5th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers in the South African Campaign, enlisted 25/10/1899. Formerly Private 13055, 18th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers.

Ionn, Clement Francis –

Son of Alfred Arthur and Amelia Blanchard Ionn (nee Crawley); husband of Elizabeth Ionn (nee Ainsworth), of 12, Hargreaves Street, Halliwell, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly a tram driver on the Chorley New Road route. Previous service in the South African Campaign. Formerly Corporal 5756, 2nd Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. Wounded 02/02/1917.

Iredale, Thomas William –

Son of the late George Iredale; husband of Mary Ann Iredale, of 26, Artillery Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted February 1915. Attached 8th Bn. Killed by a shell.

Ireland, Alfred –

Son of Mrs. M. E. Ireland, of 121, Lawn Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded. His twin brother James also served and was killed.
