Woods, Tom E –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Woods, of 25, Queensgate, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private, 1st/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Commissioned May 1916. Wounded in France on 03/07/1916 in the right eye by a fragment from a rifle grenade and in the right leg by shrapnel. Two brothers, James and John also served.

Woods, Walter –

Son of William and Hellen Woods, of 153, Bury Old Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded in 1916. Reported missing and subsequently presumed killed. Surname reported as WOOD in BC.

Woods, Walter Richard –

Son of Richard and Elizabeth Woods, of 75, Darwin Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914.

Woods, William –

Of 27, Longfellow Avenue, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915. A member of the St. John Ambulance Brigade.

Woodward, Albert –

Of 27, Ritter Street, Kearsley, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915, “Group System”.
