Son of Thomas Worthington, headmaster of St. Thomas’s Schools, Halliwell, Bolton, Lancashire, and of Glen View, 28, Harpers Lane, Smithills, Bolton, Lancashire. Fought at Mons, Marne and Aisne. Served as orderly to General Milne for some time. Gassed five times.

Son of Thomas and Esther Worthington, of Eccles, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Amy Worthington, of 16, Irwell Grove, Eccles, Lancashire

Worthington, Zebulon –

Son of Zebulon and Sarah Ann Worthington, of 9, Alice Street, Deane Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 2282, 2nd Bn., King’s Own Royal Lancashire Regiment. Wounded with fractured leg in October 1915 when sandbags were blown on him by shell explosion. Served in Mesopotamia.
