Son of Richard and Betty Grimshaw, of 196, Scobell Street, Tottington, Lancashire, and formerly of 24, Bury Road, Tottington, Lancashire. Enlisted January 1915.

Hannen, Daniel –

Husband of Elizabeth Ann Hannen, of 8, Hall Street, Pendleton, Lancashire.

Hardman, Arthur Ellis –

Son of the late Ellis Hardman and the late Martha Hardman (nee Lonsdale), of Little Lever, Lancashire; husband of Isabella Hardman (nee Morley), of 130, Church Street, Little Lever, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914. Reported missing since 21/08/1915 and subsequently presumed killed.

Husband of Mrs. Harris, of 1, Longshaw’s Buildings, Pendlebury, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1914.

Harrison, William Hugh Dailey –

Son of Mary Ann Harrison, of 25, Vernon Place, Swinton, Lancashire, and the late Peter Harrison. His brother, Peter, also served.

Husband of Selina Hewson, of 9, Melbourne Street, Pendlebury, Lancashire. Formerly Royal Welsh Fusiliers.

Hodkinson, Albert William –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Hodkinson, of Darcy Lever, Bolton, Lancashire; husband of Mrs. Hodkinson, of 39, Lupton Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted January or May 1915. Formerly Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded whilst fighting in the East and spent seven months in hospital in 1916.

Holden, John –

Husband of Mrs. Holden, of 4, Hannah Street, Pendlebury, Lancashire. Enlisted December 1914. His elder brothers William and Joseph also served.

Homer, Leonard –

Son of James and Lucy Homer, of 24, New Street, Pendlebury, Lancashire. Formerly 76902, Royal Welsh Fusiliers.

Jameson, Ellis –

Of 80, Park Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted in 1914. Three years regular service with Lancashire Fusiliers and 9 years on reserve. Killed by shrapnel whilst on sentry duty in trenches.

Jenkins, James –

Youngest son of Lewis and Ellen Jenkins, of 78, Manchester Road, Clifton, Lancashire. Died at a casualty clearing station in France from shock following wounds to the foot and arm.

Johnson, Percy –

Son of John William and Jane Johnson, of 15, Saxby Street, Irlams-o’th’-Height, Salford, Lancashire.
