Formerly 24840, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Died in hospital in India from dysentery. Interred at Karachi Cemetery, A/D. O. 29. Three brothers also served.

Husband of Alice Bunting, of 67, Corson Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted June 1915. Reported wounded, then missing and subsequently presumed killed.

Byron, Arthur –

Son of Agnes Byron, of 3, Larkhill, Farnworth, Lancashire; husband of Margaret Byron (nee Price), of 21, Elizabeth Street, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire. Previously enlisted at Farnworth 28/08/1914 as Private 12203, 7th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, and discharged 06/10/1914 as unlikely to become an efficient soldier. Memorial in Farnworth Cemetery.

Husband of Mrs. Curwell, of 6, Middlefell Street, Moses Gate, Farnworth, Lancashire. Previously worked for two years as a police constable at Mossley, near Oldham.

Dunn, Harold –

Son of William and Hannah Dunn, of 95, Starcliffe Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1917. Died in a Canadian Casualty Clearing Station. Brothers John (in India) and Willie (in Mesopotamia) also served.
