Moores, Norman –

Son of Elizabeth Moores, of 35, Harper Green Road, Farnworth, Lancashire, and the late Henry Moores. Of 47, Harper Green Road, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted April 1915 aged 17. Wounded by gunshot 31/08/1918, and died at York Military Hospital.

Formerly Private 358193, 2nd/10th Bn., King’s Liverpool Regiment. Commissioned 25/09/1917 and attached 12th Bn, Manchester Regiment.

Caught as an absentee from 3rd Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment at Felixstowe since 16/11/1916 appearing before Bolton Magistrates to be returned to his unit under escort.
