Son of Odadiah and Ann Norcross (nee Moulding), of 21, Mercia Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed at Horwich Loco Works. Reported missing since 09/08/1915 and subsequently presumed killed.

Ouldcott, Ernest –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Ouldcott, of 252, Back Chorley New Road, Horwich, Lancashire. Formerly employed at Horwich Loco Works. Previously Private / Sergeant 251/1281, 4th Bn. Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, the Horwich Territorials. Wounded 14/09/1915. Reported missing since 08/08/1916 and subsequently presumed killed. Father served in the King’s Own Royal Lancaster Regiment, and was discharged with wounds.

Formerly an apprentice fitter at the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company’s Horwich Loco Works. Formerly Private 1630, 1st/4th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Wounded accidentally by gunshot to right hand 11/07/1915. NOTE: Served as JAMES Ranoe.

Reported missing 11/09/1917 and subsequently presumed killed.
