Son of Lawrence and Elizabeth Hoyle; husband of Ellen Hoyle, of 5, Vale View, Eagley, Turton, Lancashire. Enlisted April 1915. Killed at night by shell fire.

Hulme, Albert –

Husband of Mrs. Hulme, of 13, Clough Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915. Formerly Private 4897, 2nd/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Caught aged 28 as an absentee from Ashford, Kent since 29/11/1915 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 03/12/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26).

Son of Mr. Timothy and Mrs. Idle (stepmother), of 12, James Terrace, Blackburn Road, Bolton, Lancashire. Killed by a Bristol to London express train whilst on railway guarding duty at Rodbourne, near Malmesbury, Wiltshire.

Son of Henry and Lucy Iliff, of 27, John Alfred Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly 2nd/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Died of wounds to the left thigh and chest received 12/02/1916.
