Son of John Thomas and Matilda Ann Scowcroft, of The Waterloo Hotel, Blackburn Road, Bolton, Lancashire. An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Succumbed to his injuries, a gunshot wound to the thigh, at the 4th General Hospital in Versailles.
