Only son of Alfred B. and Ellen Pilkington, of 36, Sandwich Street, Walkden, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915. Killed by a shell splinter whilst asleep.

Platt, Alexander –

Of 18, Leigh Road, Boothstown, Lancashire. Formerly 41692, Machine Gun Corps; formerly 21052, 6th Dragoon Guards. Commissioned into the Royal Flying Corps as Second Lieutenant on 12/09/1917. Transferred to Royal Air Force 01/04/1918.

Prentice, Thomas –

Son of Andrew Prentice, of 1, Barton Road, Worsley, Lancashire; husband of the late Clara Prentice, of Bank House, Worsley, Lancashire.

Prescott, Robert –

Son of Richard and Elizabeth Prescott, of 271, Manchester Road, Tyldesley, Lancashire.

Ratcliffe, Arthur –

Son of Mary Elizabeth Ratcliffe, of 52, Vicars Hall Lane, Boothstown, Lancashire. Possible death in the April to June Quarter of 1918 in the Barton-on-Irwell registration district, aged 22.

Of 67, Brackley Street, Walkden, Lancashire. Enlisted May 1915. A member of the St. John Ambulance Brigade.

Ridings, Arnold –

Husband of Mrs. Ridings, of 140, Walkden Road, Walkden, Lancashire. Enlisted February 1915. Posted missing since 21/11/1917, and subsequently presumed to have drowned in a shell-hole whilst on duty.

Ridyard, Charles North –

Second son of Joseph and Celia Ridyard, of West Lodge, Worsley Hall, Manchester, Lancashire. Died of pneumonia at the 24th Casualty Clearing Station, Italy.

Son of the late Richard and Mary Ellen Ridyard, of Old Clough Farm, Walkden, Lancashire.

Son of Joseph and Mary Alice Robinson, of 43, Roe Green, Worsley, Lancashire, and formerly of 123, Roe Green, Worsley, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915.

Rounce, John –

Son of Walter Rounce, of 252, Walkden Road, Worsley, Lancashire; husband of Elizabeth Rounce. Joined up Februayr 1917. Posted missing since 13/04/1918, and subsequently presumed killed.
