Lindley, Charles –

Son of Charles and Mary Lindley, of 2, Hooton Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Enlisted aged 16 in November 1915. Survived the torpedoing of the troopship Arcadian. Attached 3rd/57th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed when a shell burst in his dug-out in Italy.

Son of George and Lucy Maud O’Neil, of 17, Sloane Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed at the Wharton Hall Colliery, Little Hulton, and associated with the No.2 Corps of the Salvation Army. Also sometimes recorded as O’NEIL.
