Son of John and Alice Brown, of 35, Pleasant Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted June 1915. Formerly 21757, 20th Bn., Lancashire Fusiliers. Died of gunshot wounds and gas received in action at No.6 General Hospital, Rouen. Brother Jack served in France.

Greenhalgh, Richard –

Youngest son of Band-Sergeant Robert Edward Greenhalgh, who served 26 years in the old Bolton Volunteers, the 9th Lancashire Volunteer Artillery, and Elizabeth Greenhalgh, of 15, Range Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 35, Ribblesdale Road, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Great Lever Division of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Died in the Malta Hospital.
