Husband of Mary Bessie Evans, of 14, Edge Fold, Walkden, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1916. Reported missing since 09/04/1918 and subsequently confirmed prisoner of war in Germany. Possible death Q4, 1923, Barton on Irwell, aged 41 years.
