Lievesley, Albert Edward –

Son of Thomas and Mary Alice Lievesley, of 86, Church Avenue, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed by the London and North Western Railway Company as a Improver to Joiner in the Permanent Way Department at Edge Hill, Liverpool. Enlisted December 1914. Killed when a shell burst in his billet.

Lindley, Charles –

Son of Charles and Mary Lindley, of 2, Hooton Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Enlisted aged 16 in November 1915. Survived the torpedoing of the troopship Arcadian. Attached 3rd/57th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed when a shell burst in his dug-out in Italy.

Lindow, Arthur –

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Lindow, of 63, Croston Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted October 1915. Killed by a shell.

Livesey, Harry –

Son of Mrs. Livesey, of 184, Rishton Lane, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 137, High Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted December 1914. Caught aged 19 as an absentee from Shoeburyness since 12/01/1915 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 19/01/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/25). Posted missing since 01/07/1916 and subsequently presumed killed.

Livesey, Peter –
