Husband of Mrs. Hunt, of 86, Turton Road, Bradshaw, Turton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Enlisted April 1915. Died of Dysentery at sea, en-route from the Red Cross Hospital at Malta. Buried at sea just before the ship entered the Straits of Gibraltar.
Kershaw, Paul –
Son of the late Paul and Ruth Kershaw, of 14, View Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed in the machine room at Messrs. Tillotson and Son, Ltd. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Enlisted August 1915. Died at Gosport (Haslar) Hospital from an attack of pneumonia. Memorial on family grave in Edgworth Congregational Churchyard.
Lindley, Charles –
Son of Charles and Mary Lindley, of 2, Hooton Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Enlisted aged 16 in November 1915. Survived the torpedoing of the troopship Arcadian. Attached 3rd/57th Siege Battery, Royal Garrison Artillery. Killed when a shell burst in his dug-out in Italy.

Riley, James –
Husband of Louisa Riley, of 29, Coop Street, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. A Sergeant of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, which he joined at the start of the South African Campaign. Formerly employed as caretaker of the Co-Operative Society Reading Rooms at Halliwell. Body not recovered for burial.

A member of the Great Lever Division of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. At University War Hospital, Southampton in January 1916. Missing and believed drowned in the loss of the transport Transylvania.

Son of William Henry and Alice Matilda Stockham (nee Sainsbury); husband of Mary Stockham (nee Kitt), of 31, Mercia Street, Daubhill, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly employed by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company at Trinity Street Station as foreman cleaner in the carriage and wagon department. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Seriously wounded 17/05/1915 resulting in both feet being amputated. Died at the military hospital in Alexandria, Egypt.
Tattersall, Walter –
Son of Eligh and Mary Tattersall; husband of Mary Elizabeth Tattersall, of 126, Queensgate, Chorley New Road, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade who also served in the South African War. Home service only. Died at the military hospital in Curragh, Ireland.

Son of Robert Bridge Tomlinson and Sarah Alice Tomlinson, of 19, Wellington Road, Turton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Accidentally killed on the railway in France en-route home from Salonika for demobilisation.
