Eldest son of John and Margaret Beesley, of 91, Holden Street, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 64, Rishton Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Enlisted September 1914. Killed at the Battle of Jutland. Body not recovered for burial.
