Barrett, John Thomas –

Husband of Jessie Barrett, of 29, Drummond Street, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Wounded in the chest on 10/04/1917 and died in hospital. Recorded as Thomas J. Barrett on Medal Card.

Husband of Louisa Jane Baxter, of 71, Holland Street, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 3870, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Discharged due to TB. Died aged 41 years 14/05/1919.

Beechey, Thomas James Ormonde –

Husband of Amelia Beechey (nee Atherton), of 11, Talbot Street, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 4, Emerald Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Previous service as Colour Sergeant 2256, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment, from which he was discharged as medically unfit 28/05/1916. Subsequently re-enlisted and passed as fit.

Bibby, Thomas –

Husband of Ellen Bibby, of 72, Eden Street, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire, and formerly of 69, Old Road, Astley Bridge, Bolton, Lancashire. Caught aged 23 as an absentee from Woolwich since 11/10/1915 and appeared before Bolton Magistrates 10/12/1915 to be sent back to his unit under escort. (Bolton Archives: JBO/1/26).
