Formerly employed as a clerk at Lostock station by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Company. Enlisted April 1917. Formerly 69755, 106th (Training Reserve) Bn., Royal Fusiliers. Killed when hit on the back of the neck with a piece of shrapnel.
