Enlisted aged 16 (although claimed to be 19). Formerly Private 17782. Attached for a period from 02/10/1915 to 31/05/1916 to the 32nd Divisional Cyclist Company, Army Cyclist Corps. Previously wounded in January 1918. Posted missing and subsequently confirmed wounded by gunshot in the head and taken prisoner of war 25/04/1918 and in a German hospital in August 1918. Repatriated 07/09/1918.
