Son of Mr. and Mrs. Crump, of 106a, Hampden Street, Bolton, Lancashire. A member of the Bolton Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade. Among the first rescuers in the Lusitania disaster. One of the men saved from the Arabia when torpedoes in the Mediterranean en-route home from the East on sick leave. Reported as Royal Army Medical Corps in BC and BJ&G.
