Son of Thomas and Ann Davies, of 33, North Drive, Swinton, Lancashire, and formerly of 345, Bolton Road, Pendlebury, Lancashire. Previously hospitalised with influenza in October 1915. Suffered shell gas poisoning on 16/10/1918 resulting in pneumonia to which he succumbed.
