Caught aged 33 and aged 41 (on records) as an absentee from Clipstone Camp, Nottingham since 03/06/1917 and from France since 20/02/1918 appearing before Bolton Magistrates 19/06/1917 and 26/03/1918 to be sent back to his unit under escort.
