Son of William Henry and Miriam Entwistle, of 11, Ellesmere Road, Morris Green Lane, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 5726, 4th/5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Seriously wounded by gunshot in the head, shoulder and knee 26/10/1917. REsulted in both legs being amputated.
