Son of Thomas Finnigan, of Duke of Wellington Hotel, Duke Street, Stockport, Cheshire. Later of 17, Broughton Avenue, Layton, Blackpool, Lancashire. Formerly of Roundcroft Tavern, James Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Attached No.3 Canadian Field Ambulance, Canadian Army Medical Corps. He received gunshot wounds in the thigh, legs and hand, on 13/06/1916. He was removed to No.17 Casualty Clearing Station, but succumbed to his wounds at 6.55pm the following evening.
