Only son of James Fishwick, manager of Mill Hill Mills, Bolton, Lancashire, and Ellen Fishwich, of 66, Bromwich Street, Haulgh, Bolton, Lancashire. An old Boy of Bolton Grammar School (1907-1914). Formerly Private, 18th Bn., Royal Welsh Fusiliers. Commissioned Second Lieutenant 19/08/1915. Wounded by bomb shrapnel in both hands 27/03/1917. Relinquished his commission due to ill-health by wounds 17/07/1918.
