Husband of Mary Emma Farrimond (formerly Gaskell), of 12, Ellesmere Street, Hindley, Lancashire. Wounded by gunshot in the right shoulder in October 1915. Wounded again April 1916 by machine-gun fire in the right leg. Brother of Corporal Thomas Gaskell, who also fell.
