NOTE:- Served as John Edward WILLIAMS. Son of Mrs. Griffiths (formerly Williams), of 23, Beechwood Street, Great Lever, Bolton, Lancashire. Worked for the London and North Western Railway Company as a Fireman at Plodder Lane. Enlisted January 1915. His brother George served in the Royal Field Artillery and his father served as a guard at Knockaloe prisoner of war camp. Died at No.21 Casualty Clearing Station, Somme, France.
