Son of Mr. and Mrs. Grundy, of 55, George Street, Bolton, Lancashire. Formerly Private 7545, 5th Bn., Loyal North Lancashire Regiment. Sent back to England from Etaples, France in September 1916 for being under age. Wounded by gunshot in the right shoulder and taken prisoner of war 12/04/1918 and held at Limburg.
