An old boy of Bolton Municipal Secondary School. Formerly Sergeant 11441, 2nd Bn., Sherwood Foresters. Commissioned 08/02/1917. Died at Endsleigh Palace Hospital, London. Two brothers, also Sergeants, with the same Regiment, and their father served in Egypt with the 3rd East Lancashire Brigade.
