Son of Joseph and Mary A. Kirkpatrick, of 205, Aubrey Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He was killed on the afternoon of 09/08/1918, when his battalion advanced in the face of stout opposition from the enemy who placed a heavy barrage at the “jumping-off” place and from hidden nests poured machine gun fire into the ranks of our men who pushed forward.
