Son of Claud Pierrepont, dental surgeon of Bromley Cross, Turton, Lancashire, and formerly of St. George’s Road, Bolton, Lancashire, and the late Caroline (Carrie) Pierrepont (nee Ward). Formerly employed by the Clifton and Kearsley Colliery Company at their offices at Clifton. Wounded aged 27 by shrapnel in the right thigh in France in September 1915.
