Son of Mrs. Alice Taylor, of 9, Westminster Street, Farnworth, Lancashire. Enlisted November 1915. Previously twice wounded, in 1916 and 1917. Admitted to the Casualty Clearing Station 06/02/1918 unconscious and with a gunshot wound in the left arm and concussion of the brain, and died without regaining conscousness. Recorded as C. E. Taylor on CWGC and as C or Clifford Taylor in local newspapers.
